Men’s League wk 3 results…finally

Well it’s taken until Wednesday, June 2, 4:45PM to get the last of LAST Wednesday’s matches finished and reported… just in time to play week 4. Try to schedule your rain make ups as soon as weather allows (I know, this weekend past was Memorial Day, so you’re all forgiven and excused). Daniel Eignor grabbed near pin with an effort on #6 to 5′ for $32. He also birdied the hole for a skin and another $10. Mike Lor’s par on #1 was good for $10. Mitch Hull parred #3 and birdied #4 for 2 skins and $20. Harry Saslow had the lone birdie on #8 for his first skin of the season… $10… So now we’re all caught up. Here’s last weeks scorecards (and reports at the bottom):

defending champs take it on the chin from the bounceback kids Jamie and Chris who in a closely contested match end up 56.5 – 33.5
Mike (“Mr 32”) Lor and Jonathan Crane keep up their winning ways cruising to a 67-23 win
Mitch and Larry Hull extend their early season league lead by both posting net below par while Fred Wedding couldn’t duplicate his net below par round and substitute Taylor Christofhel shot a game net 33 but had no chance against hot Larry’s season best net 25
Harry Saslow continues to play a hot hand with a 37 net 28 (and a birdie on #8 paid a skin!) while his partner Brian Wheaton edged John Zummo by net 2 strokes.
Dan O’ finally breaks out with a season’s best 35 net 25 and partner Mike Rockwood managed to stay even or a stroke ahead on just about every hole to take a big 74-16 decision.
Skip hardly needed the 6 strokes he got from Lenny – besting him by 2 strokes gross, 8 strokes net. Partner Bill Drew took good advantage of his 8 strokes matching up or besting opponent Derrick Black ultimately leading to a 73-17 triumph
The final match of Week 3 was a close one with only two strokes net determining the outcome. Justin / Zack bested James / Ken 54.5 – 35.5 to close out the week
