It was quite a day with, by my estimate, a couple of potential personal bests, as well as several surprising one sided contests that resulted in a change in the top spot as well as the tightening of several spots at the top of the league.
Once again you’ve collectively managed to prevent ANY skins from being awarded and so you’ll be playing near pin / skins next week with an extra $30 in the skins pot. That easiest of par 3’s, #8, yielded to Jerrold Hubbell’s tee shot so he’s taking home the $20 near pin pot this week… next week you’ll find the tape measure next to the white pine backing the 2nd green…
We’ve got another 3 weeks of regular season play before we begin a 3 week, 4 team round robin to determine our league winner. For the teams “out of the running” do let me know if you want a “grudge match” against a particular team and I’ll do my best to put them on your schedule in weeks 14, 15, or 16.
